FAQ
Asked by every applicant. Answered straight.
Who can join?
Client Partners and Account Managers in tech who serve tech clients — at SaaS vendors, cloud providers, IT services, consulting, and MSP firms. Strategic AMs and senior CSMs with real commercial ownership (renewals, expansion, executive relationships) may also apply. Every application is reviewed on the work you actually do.
Why application-based?
Because the value of the room is who’s in it. An application and a short conversation keep cohorts matched by seniority and book type, keep vendors out, and make sure every member arrives understanding the confidentiality expectations. It takes five minutes — it’s a filter for intent, not an obstacle course.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Everything runs under the Chatham House rule: you may use what you learn, but you never attribute it. Client names and identifying details stay out of shared materials — account plans brought for review are anonymized first. Breaking confidentiality means removal.
Will my employer see this?
Client Partner is an independent community and membership is personal — it’s yours, not your company’s. Member lists aren’t published or shared with employers, sponsors, or anyone else. What you take back to your accounts is better thinking, not a paper trail.
What’s the vendor and sponsor policy?
Members are never an audience to be sold to. Firms may support Client Partner as Patrons — sponsoring a dinner or hosting a session — but sponsors receive no member data, no attendee lists, and no pitching rights. If someone joins to sell, they don’t stay.
How much time does it take — and what does it cost?
Plan on one 60-minute roundtable a month, plus the channel whenever you need it. Dinners and workshops are quarterly and optional. On cost: founding membership is complimentary during the founding period, and founding members lock their founding rate when paid membership launches. Full member pricing will be announced to the founding cohort first.
